We recently showed examples of how using images in your emails can be beneficial for business. Images allow you to share your products, location and yourself to your audience, which can bring in more sales and allow you to build a stronger relationship with your subscriber base.

Image hosting makes it easier than ever to use images in email; you simply upload an image from your computer into your AWeber account.

Since this is such a popular feature, we wanted to make it even better for you.

Check Out Your Image Gallery

All AWeber accounts now contain an image gallery.

All the images you upload will be saved here for easy reuse.

Here’s what it looks like:

If you want to see how it looks in action, check out this short video:

Why A Gallery is AWesome

1. It saves you time.

Instead of spending your precious time re-uploading an image every time you want to use it, you simply make a few clicks.

2. It saves you space.

Every time you upload an image, you take up some of your allotted space. Uploading the same image repeatedly can eat up that space, but now you only have to upload that image once.

3. It can provide design inspiration.

If you’re facing “designers block” and you’re not sure how to make your email look more appealing, you can now check some of the images you’ve used in the past. You can then either reuse those images or it might spark an idea for a new one.

How It Works

1. Drag and drop the image icon from your toolbar to where you want it in the message.

2. Choose to upload an image to your gallery or browse the gallery.

3. Select an image in your gallery to use. You can also use this to replace an image in your message.

That’s it! Check it out in your account today.

Neat feature. Is there a limit to how many images we can upload?

Randall – Good question. You can upload up to 100MB.

UPDATE: AWeber now has unlimited image storage included for free with every account. Get all the details here: https://www.aweber.com/blog/email-marketing/introducing-unlimited-image-storage.htm

    Thanks everyone!

Andrea – You can upload a screenshot of the video with the play button, then link that image to your video. You can find detailed instructions here. Most ISPs will block emails that have videos embedded directly.

How do we delete images from our image gallery that we don’t want to use anymore, so we can free up some space?

Ryan, I agree with you. How do you delete images you no longer want in the image gallery? Seems like the Aweber folks left out that detail!

    Hi Ryan and Tim,

To delete an image, go into your image gallery and then to the image you wish to delete. You will see an icon in the top corner – click it and you’ll have the option to delete that image. But we now have unlimited image storage in all AWeber accounts, so there’s no need to free up space – you can keep as many images as you like!
