Emily uses AWeber as her email marketing platform of choice, as email marketing is a top priority for Jones Design Company.

“Because we are primarily a blog, it is important to develop a relationship with our readers,” Emily said. “Using email to contact them several times per week with great content has been invaluable to the growth of our business.”

When she was looking for an innovative way to grow her email list, Emily turned to Heyo to begin running weekly giveaways on her Facebook page. Heyo was a great option since it integrates with AWeber and other email marketing providers.

“The goal for our giveaways is twofold: give our readers something great that they find valuable AND grow our email list. When choosing a giveaway platform, integration with our email service was top priority,” Emily said.

Once Emily had linked her Heyo campaign to her AWeber account, she was ready to start promoting her contests and collecting email addresses.

Emily’s results.

Using Heyo to run her weekly giveaways, Emily has been able to add over 1,100 emails to her AWeber email list. Her campaigns have received 2,062 impressions, which gives Emily a very impressive conversion rate of about 54 percent. That means that for every 100 people that viewed her giveaways, about 54 people entered their email address for a chance to win.

“Giveaways are always a great way to reach new audiences through viral shares, so we will continue to use this as one growth strategy,” Emily said. “As our email list grows, our reach increases, which ultimately leads to higher sales.”
