AWeber Names New Vice President of Engineering
Chalfont, Pa. February 10, 2015 – AWeber – Email Marketing is pleased to announce the appointment of Sandeep Chand to the role of Vice President of Engineering. Chand reports to AWeber’s Chief Technology Officer and helps lead the charge to implement the company’s strategic vision for engineering and product development.
Chand’s 20 years of experience–with established businesses and as an entrepreneur–encompasses technology and product development, strategic planning and marketing. Throughout the past two decades, he spent the majority of his career in SaaS-based environments where he built expertise not only in product development, but application development. Year by year, his experience has progressed and been underscored by a knack for strategic goal-setting matched with laser sharp execution.
As AWeber’s Vice President of Engineering, Chand will:
- craft the vision for engineering that aligns with AWeber’s organizational goals and vision
- direct the planning and execution of strategic and tactical projects
- oversee day-to-day operations within the engineering department
- build and support AWeber’s team of remarkable engineers, and coach them to even greater levels of AWesome-ness
