T-Shirt Design Contest – Win a Year of AWeber!

UPDATE 2/13/09: We have a winner!

We need your help!

After seeing the popularity of the AWeber socks we occasionally send out, we think it’s time to add some T-shirts to the AWeber wardrobe. 🙂

However, we’re so busy running AWeber and working on enhancements (like the recent control panel redesign) that we haven’t come up with a finished design!

This Is Where You, Our Loyal – And Creative! – Readers, Come In

We need your humorous and witty ideas for an email marketing-related design and slogan for the shirts.

So, we’re running a simple contest.

  1. Submit your design and/or slogan ideas in the comments below.

Text ideas are fine, but if you want to show us what you have in mind, you can use the T-shirt below as a template and link up your design in your comment.

(It’s not necessary to create/include a full-blown design to win – we’ve got skilled designers here. We’re mostly looking for content/slogan ideas.)

  2. Our judges (a board of trusted email marketing professionals – namely, us) will review the entries and pick the best one.
  3. The winner will receive 1 year of AWeber service for free – and of course, we’ll throw in a free T-shirt or two.

Contest Deadline: Friday, January 23, 2009 The Contest Is Now Closed and We Have a Winner!

To be eligible for the prize, submit your entries in the comments before 11:59PM on Friday the 23rd. The contest is closed and we have a winner!

Even though there will only be one winner, we’ll try and pick a few runner ups and send them some free t-shirts as well.

Thanks, and good luck!

I would go right for the grillin angle with the t-shirt. How about the
classic weber kettle on the front with a thick juicy steak on it. Maybe
the website branded on the steak.

On the front: A Weber spells perfection in barbeque grilling!!!

On the back: AWeber grills the e-mail marketing competition

Put a picture of a person with a milk mustache and write below it "Got a list?"

Then either below that or on the back – "Get Aweber"

Hi, I am in for a last one:
text on the t-shirt : {firstname}, Do You Use Aweber ?
Ok, either appears like this, or the tag {firstname} is replace in the real life, on the shirt, by the firstname of people you cross in the street…
(I realize you guys will have to create a special javascript for this.)

I am curious as to why my comment yesterday sat awaiting moderation for hour after hour and then apparently was rejected — it is not here — with no explanation. Had you already picked a winner? It’s not that big a deal, but if you are going to have a contest, you ought to have a level playing field….
