AWeber Supports The Phillies

For the first time since 1993, our hometown Philadelphia Phillies have won the National League Championship and are headed to the World Series.

AWeber is located right outside of Philadelphia and many of us are die hard Phillies fans. So, we thought it would be a great idea to support the team by wearing Phillies shirts and just generally get in the spirit of the game.

Yesterday was a great day, and the 5-1 clincher last night made it even better. We can’t wait for the World Series. Go Phils!

I suggest you have a "Our Team" tab on your site and put photos of the people we talk to on the phone. Would be nice to put a name to a face.

Ok, ok…once the Phillies win the Series (Tampa is toast!) can we switch to hockey ??…as a die hard, 40 year plus Buffalo Sabres fan, the Sabres and Flyers have served up some memorible moments over the years. And the Sabres are to be reckoned with this year !

  9. As a disappointed Atlanta Braves fan, but a national league fan, I will be pulling for the Phillies to win it for the national league.

  10. I’ve been a fan of the Red Sox for as long as I’ve been able to know what baseball was. So, with the Sox losing to the Rays … Well, let’s say I wanted to see Philly beat LA (Manny thing!) and now the Rays!

I support all Philly fans everywhere! Enjoy! It’s awesome fun (and stress?) =)

By the congrats on winning game 1. (Did someone say sweep?)

  11. I grew up in Philly and have lived in the Tampa area for the past 23 years. Before the World Series started, I figured I’d just root for both teams having grown fond of the Rays as well. Kind of hard not to after 9 years of incredible frustration and this year could be one of the most incredible Cinderella stories in the sports world.

But when the opening pitch was thrown, years of Philly memories came flooding back and I started rooting for the Phils. My wife, having no affiliation for Philly, rooted for the Rays and we’ve had a healthy time of it.

The Phils are now up 3-1 and the fat lady hasn’t sung yet, but I’ll be happy for all of Philly if they pull it off!
