Connect AWeber to Zendesk, Gmail, and More

Email marketing is all about building relationships with your subscribers. Depending on your business model, your mailing lists might be the only point of contact you have with them, informing them of events, products, or other pieces of information that are valuable to them.

However, you might communicate with your subscribers through other channels as well, and you want to be sure that you’re sending a consistent message. Good news: With AWeber’s API, you can now see your subscribers information in help desk software, CRMs and even your personal email account!

We’re thrilled to announce our integration with Zendesk, a great help desk tool that we’ve started using ourselves. It’s extremely helpful to know what kind of contact you’ve had with someone when trying to help them with any questions they have, and our Zendesk integration does just that, giving you detailed information about subscribers who contact you via Zendesk, including the names of any lists they’ve joined, and the last message they were sent from those lists.

If the Zendesk widget sounded familiar, you may already know about our Rapportive integration. If you’re not familiar with Rapportive, it’s an addon for your browser that enhances GMail by displaying information about your contacts as you read the email they sent you. Rapportive can display information from a number of social networks and other services, including, to our delight, AWeber.

Connected produced their own AWeber integration recently, adding us to a laundry list of services that sync with them, making their service even more of a “one stop shop” for your contacts than it was before, giving you each contact’s complete AWeber history along with all the otehr data Connected provides.

Salesforce is a powerful CRM tool, especially helpful for bringing together multichannel interactions with customers. Salesforce users can now add AWeber to the list of services that work with Salesforce, so now you can see whether prospects are already being sent email, or if the next step is to get them on your list.
