The AWeber team invites you to participate in our first-ever #AWeberHour Twitter Chat Wednesday, January 8, from 3-4 p.m. ET. We’ll be speaking with Joe Pulizzi, founder of the Content Marketing Institute. Joe will be providing insight on what 2014 holds in store for content marketing as well as sharing some New Year’s Resolutions every content marketer should make. The top chat contributor will receive a copy of Joe’s book, EPIC Content Marketing, and an AWeber swag bag.

To participate:

  1. Create an account at Twitter.com.
  2. Follow @AWeber and @JoePulizzi.
  3. Follow the hashtag in your favorite Twitter application (e.g., Twitter.com, Hootsuite, Tweetdeck, etc.).
  4. Be sure to include the hashtag #AWeberHour in your tweet. Make sure your tweet is 140 characters or less.

Here’s a preview of the questions we’ll be discussing:

  • How do you define content marketing?
  • How do you define EPIC content marketing?
  • What were some of the biggest findings of your annual B2B/B2C content marketing study?
  • If everyone is doing content marketing, how do you cut through the content clutter?
  • Why do most brands fail at content marketing?
  • Any big predictions you’d like to make regarding content marketing in 2014?
  • What’s one or two New Year’s resolutions every content marketer should make in 2014?

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, January 8, at 3 p.m. ET and be sure to follow @AWeber to stay up to date on all the action. Tweet you there!

This is a great marketing event, will we be able to interact and ask questions or will it be only the questions listed in the blog post? As the head of our organization I will be there and will follow closely to see what actually takes place.

Wish you guys all the best and good luck.

TWS, great question. Thanks for asking. Our Twitter chat is intended to be interactive, so we welcome your participation. While we have outlined the questions we’ll be asking Joe, you’re certainly welcome to ask your own content marketing questions as well. -Brandon

Will you provide us with a way link to this even via our affiliate link profile. Otherwise, we affiliates are wasting our valuable resources promoting this event.

No-doubt, AWeber will be signing lots of new customers up and we ‘affiliates of AWeber’ need to be able to profit from this. Agreed?

    Andy.

    Hi Andy,
Thanks for your comment. To do this, simply add the following to the end of the URL of the page you would like to share: ?id=AFFID (replace “AFFID” with your affiliate ID).

    Hi Sharma,
Our Twitter Chat with Joe Pulizzi happened last week. However, you can catch a recap here: http://www.aweber.com/blog/email-marketing/aweberhour-twitter-chat-recap-epic-marketing-for-2014.htm. We will be holding our next Twitter Chat on Feb. 5 with Mike Stelzner, founder of Social Media Examiner. You are encouraged to interact with the guest expert as well as with other participants. Hope to see you there.

Thank you guys for holding this event at 2 pm EST, (not later) so I can attend from Europe. Looking forward to expand my knowledge and share it with my team. Cheers!
